CaptiveLove Bites — welcome

Hi! It's me, Esther, the artist/designer/jewelry-maker behind CaptiveLove® Jewelry. I've been crafting jewelry since 1994.  Originally trained in fine arts, the twists and turns of life changed my path many times leading me here. I started out creating mainstream contemporary sterling silver jewelry; when my wedding collection took off I focused on that for several years.  After an illness, I took silversmithing classes at the Visual Arts Center here in Summit, New Jersey. One day a former writing partner asked me if I could make her a padlock necklace...and, as they say, the rest is history. I opened my Etsy shop...
